Company Biography
Six Filming UK Ltd was established in 2005, initially developed as a filming agency specialising in location research and management. Demand for related video production soon grew. By 2007 we had set up a fully equipped creative suite making videos for people from all walks of life.
Rooted from broadcast journalism, we aim to push the boundaries and provide our services for all, meaning corporate DVD productions, online video marketing, wedding films, family history documentaries, etc… Over the years, we have experimented with technique, style, genre and the medium of moving images generally. Our “can-do” approach to video production has earned the team a reputation for innovation.
After stepping into the new decade, we see ourselves in an even bigger picture. In order to support the local communities to beat the recession we have launched the Charity Non-profit Scheme and halved our rates for newly started businesses based in the Tees Valley area.
We invest most of our profit in latest technology and intellectual development. We understand that the only way to keep our clients ahead of the competition is to ensure that SixFilming always pioneers the trend in its own field.
Management Team
Ivy Morgan
Managing Director
Originally from Tianjin China, Ivy founded Six Filming UK Ltd soon after starting her family in Hartlepool. She attended Beijing Broadcasting Institute and upon graduating she was appointed as a video journalist by a national TV station. She was renowned for her talent in video editing among her peers and had been selected to direct and edit a number of major programmes. She went on to reap a few awards for her documentaries and promos. While her career was unfolding nicely she decided to swap China for new challenges in Britain.
Ivy is a versatile producer with a rock solid skill set and a keen eye on emerging technologies. She is a proficient camera operator and Aivd editor. She is responsible for the company’s day-to-day management and oversees all video projects and internet content developments.
Amy Woodhouse
Planning Advisor
Amy is a great listener and natural communicator. Her advanced PR skills benefit from the work experience in a media centre. She works alongside the production team dealing with enquiries and video project briefs from our potential clients. She provides them with visual ideas and possible solutions to pave the way to successful video production.
Amy is a keen writer who has published various articles within the local communities and online. She holds qualifications in Interactive Media and Graphic Design and currently studies Magazine Journalism at Sunderland University.
